This Mid-Autumn Festival, Blue by Alain Ducasse invites guests to celebrate the beauty of meaningful connections with its 2026 mooncake collection, Once in a Blue Moon. Inspired by the rare celestial phenomenon of the Blue Moon, the limited-edition mooncake collection captures the essence of reunion, generosity, and the joy of sharing cherished moments with loved ones.

Created by Executive Pastry Chef Christophe Grilo, recipient of Tatler Thailand's Best Pastry Chef 2026 and winner of Iron Chef Thailand 2025, the collection combines contemporary French pastry craftsmanship with the traditions of the Mid-Autumn Festival. Each handcrafted mooncake reflects a thoughtful balance between heritage, innovation, and refined flavors.

The Once in a Blue Moon mooncake collection features four exclusive creations.

Coulant d'Or Lunaire – Egg Yolk Lava offers a luxurious combination of textures, highlighted by a rich molten egg yolk center.

Tiramisu Clair de Lune – Coffee, Chocolate and Cream reimagines the beloved Italian dessert through layers of espresso, cacao, and velvety cream.

Lotus au Fromage – Lotus Cheese presents a contemporary interpretation of the classic lotus seed filling, elevated by a delicate creamy heart.

Sésame Volcanique – Black Sesame Lava showcases deeply roasted black sesame paired with a luscious molten center, creating a lingering nutty finish.
