Marriott chefs across Thailand are reimagining wellness cuisine with longevity-focused dishes inspired by local ingredients, global flavors, and mindful eating

Wellness travel is no longer limited to spas, meditation retreats, or fitness programs. Increasingly, it is also finding its place at the dining table. In Thailand, where food culture and healing traditions have long existed side by side, a new collaboration between Marriott Bonvoy and Tourism Authority of Thailand is turning that idea into a nationwide culinary experience.

Launched under the Tourism Authority of Thailand’s “Healing is a New Luxury” campaign, the new Wellness Longevity Lifestyle Menu brings together 10 chefs from Marriott hotels and resorts across Thailand to create dishes designed around wellness, nutrition, and sustainability.

Available now through Thursday, 31 July 2026 at participating Marriott Bonvoy properties nationwide, the initiative blends health-conscious cooking with the comfort and pleasure of dining out.

Rather than approaching wellness cuisine as restrictive or clinical, the menus focus on balance, flavor, and thoughtful sourcing. Each dish was developed in collaboration with professional nutritionists and highlights local, seasonal, and sustainable ingredients known for their health benefits.

Among the standout dishes is Southern Thai-Style Rice Salad with Grilled Sea Bass by Attapol Thangthong at Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse. Inspired by the southern Thai classic khao yum, the dish layers fragrant herbs including lemongrass, kaffir lime leaf, and torch ginger flower for a fresh, aromatic take on wellness dining.

At the same property, Japanese Head Chef Yuichi Mitsui offers a minimalist Grilled Seasonal Fish Donburi that emphasizes simplicity and ingredient purity.

Chinese cuisine also takes a lighter turn through dishes such as Steamed Eggplant and Minced Pork in Shanghai-Style Sauce with Rice Berries by Oscar Pun at Bangkok Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park, and Steamed Sea Bass with Soy Sauce by Jerry Li at Renaissance Bangkok Ratchaprasong Hotel. Both dishes lean into mindful cooking techniques while preserving traditional flavors.

Elsewhere, diners can explore globally inspired wellness dishes including Lebanese-style grilled chicken with hummus by Jad Zakaria at JW Marriott Hotel Bangkok, a Paleo Mexican Tuna Tostada by Rene Alcocer at The Athenee Hotel, a Luxury Collection Hotel, and Quinoa Dal Khichadi by Pravin Gayke at W Bangkok, which combines quinoa, yellow moong lentils, paneer, and Indian spices into a nourishing comfort dish.

Italian-inspired creations are also part of the lineup. At Royal Orchid Sheraton Riverside Hotel Bangkok, Marco Cammarata serves Spaghetti al Pesto with Broccoli Cream and Tiger Prawns, while Pongsakorn Boonruang at The St. Regis Bangkok presents a lighter Pan-Seared Salmon Puttanesca-Style inspired by Mediterranean flavors.

For dessert, Junjira Kaenthai at Le Méridien Bangkok closes the experience with Golden Pumpkin & Coconut Vitality, a modern Thai dessert that balances nourishment with indulgence.

The menu was officially unveiled during Thailand Tourism Festival 2026 in Bangkok, where representatives from Marriott and the Tourism Authority of Thailand highlighted the growing role of food in wellness-focused travel experiences.

For Marriott, the collaboration reflects a broader shift in luxury hospitality, where wellness increasingly extends beyond spa menus and fitness studios into everyday rituals such as dining. For Thailand, it also reinforces the country’s positioning as a destination where culinary culture and holistic wellbeing naturally intersect.

The Wellness Longevity Lifestyle Menu is available at participating Marriott Bonvoy restaurants across Thailand until Thursday, 31 July 2026. Marriott Bonvoy members can also earn and redeem points through participating dining experiences.
