Bangkok’s dining scene is getting a major mid-year boost as Chatrium Grand Bangkok launches The Oyster World Cup Gastronomy 2026, an ambitious two-month festival dedicated to oysters, premium seafood, champagne, cocktails, and world-class culinary experiences.


Running throughout June and July 2026, the festival transforms the luxury hotel in Siam into a multi-sensory lifestyle destination, bringing together Michelin-star chefs, championship oyster shuckers, internationally renowned mixologists, and immersive dining events under one roof.


Designed to be far more than a traditional food festival, The Oyster World Cup Gastronomy 2026 combines dining, entertainment, art, and social experiences through a packed calendar of gala dinners, brunches, masterclasses, pool parties, tasting events, and live competitions.


For guests planning to fully immerse themselves in the experience, Chatrium Grand Bangkok has also introduced a special Gastronomy Stay Experience package for two people, including accommodation, breakfast, and access to the hotel’s food and beverage experiences throughout the festival period.

One of the biggest highlights arrives on Friday, 20 June 2026 with Shuck Off Thailand 2026, a national oyster shucking competition that will select Thailand’s representative for the world stage in 2027. The event promises a lively atmosphere filled with live shucking demonstrations, entertainment, and oyster-focused festivities throughout the day.


The same evening, guests can continue with the exclusive 8 Hands Gala Dinner, a one-night-only culinary collaboration featuring four internationally acclaimed chefs creating a specially curated menu. The June lineup also includes several standout experiences designed for both serious food lovers and lifestyle-focused guests.


Throughout the festival, guests can also enjoy Sunday brunches, wine tastings, poolside events, and FIFA World Cup-themed experiences designed to create a lively social atmosphere across the hotel.
