Cherry Olive Cocktail Club occupies the sweet spot between timeless classics and modern mixology, bringing both worlds together under one bar

Tucked away in Convent Road in Silom, the new bar takes its name from two of the cocktail world's most recognizable garnishes. But Cherry and Olive are more than decorative symbols here.
They form the foundation of the venue's identity, representing two distinct approaches to drinking: modern creativity and timeless elegance.

The concept comes from an impressive team of bartenders spanning multiple generations of Thailand's cocktail scene, including Palm Supawit Muttarattana of Dry Wave Cocktail Studio, industry veteran Aunn Chanond Purananda, Diageo World Class winner Boyd Chanchai Rodbamrung, and Head Bartender Kem Thanat Suttirak.
For Palm, the inspiration came from a desire to create something more approachable than the typical destination cocktail bar.

"I wanted to create a neighborhood bar that still feels exciting," he says. "Cherry represents fun, creativity, innovation, and modernity. Olive represents classic, timeless elegance. Today's cocktail world often leans toward one side or the other, so we wanted to bring both together under one roof."
That philosophy extends throughout the venue. Marble surfaces meet rose-gold stainless steel accents, creating a room that feels simultaneously contemporary and familiar. The atmosphere is energetic without being overwhelming, with rotating DJs spinning a mix of current favorites and timeless classics that echo the bar's dual personality.
At the center of the experience is the cocktail menu built around emotions rather than spirits. Guests are invited to choose drinks based on how they feel, with each cocktail interpreted through either the Cherry or Olive lens.
The Cherry side embraces experimentation. Good Old Days transforms childhood nostalgia into a playful cocktail served with a popsicle, while Nosy combines truffle, jackfruit, and beetroot into an aromatic conversation starter.
The Olive side, meanwhile, celebrates refined classics with a twist. Nostalgic channels the comforting flavors of a cereal bowl through whisky, while Curious challenges expectations with blue cheese as its defining ingredient.
What makes Cherry Olive stand out isn't just the drinks, but the way it balances accessibility with craftsmanship. The menu is inventive without becoming intimidating, and thoughtful without taking itself too seriously.

In a neighborhood increasingly filled with bars competing for attention, Cherry Olive Cocktail Club succeeds by offering something surprisingly rare: a place where seasoned cocktail enthusiasts and casual drinkers can comfortably share the same table. It's less about choosing between classic and modern and more about discovering how well the two can coexist.
Whether your mood leans toward Cherry or Olive, chances are you'll find a cocktail—and perhaps a version of yourself—to match.
