Asia’s most iconic circuit party festival marks its anniversary with Adro Mada, a bold vision of freedom, fantasy, and what comes next

Every April, Bangkok transforms. The heat intensifies, the city slows for Songkran, and thousands of visitors from around the world arrive with one shared intention: to dance, to connect, and to celebrate who they are. In 2026, that annual ritual becomes something even bigger as GCIRCUIT marks its 20th anniversary with SK2026: Adro Mada – City of Tomorrow, a four-day festival that promises to be the most ambitious chapter in its history.

Born in Thailand in 2007, GCIRCUIT began as a brave idea at a time when large-scale LGBTQ+ events were far from mainstream. What started as a passion project by founders Sumet Srimuang and Tom S.G. Tan has since grown into Asia’s first and biggest gay dance festival, welcoming more than 40,000 guests each year from over 50 countries. Today, GCIRCUIT is not just a party brand. It is part of Bangkok’s cultural identity and a symbol of how far visibility, acceptance, and creative freedom have come.
For its 20th year, GCIRCUIT looks forward rather than back. SK2026 introduces Adro Mada, a dark, seductive, futuristic metropolis imagined as the City of Tomorrow. This is not just a theme but a fully built world, one that unfolds through music, performance, stage design, and immersive storytelling. Power, beauty, rebellion, and self expression collide in a setting where the future is written collectively on the dance floor.
The milestone celebration takes place from 10 to 13 April 2026 at The EmSphere, anchoring GCIRCUIT firmly in the heart of Bangkok’s evolving urban landscape. Over four days, six signature parties will unfold, including four major night events and two iconic pool parties that have become as legendary as the festival itself.
The Opening Party on 10 April 2026 sets the tone, introducing Adro Mada with high-impact visuals, futuristic performers, and the unmistakable GCIRCUIT energy that regulars know well. The Main Parties on 11 and 12 April 2026 raise the stakes with international DJs, massive production, and theatrical moments designed to fully transport the crowd into this imagined city of the future. By day, the Pool Party Boy and Pool Party Bear bring the focus back to joy, confidence, and community, each with its own distinct spirit and crowd. The Closing Party on 13 April 2026 offers a final, emotional release as the gates of Adro Mada close until the next chapter begins.
What makes GCIRCUIT endure is not just scale or spectacle, but a deep sense of belonging. For many, it is where friendships are formed, confidence is found, and identities are celebrated without compromise. Two decades on, the festival continues to evolve alongside the community it serves, reflecting changing conversations around visibility, freedom of choice, and the right to take up space.
SK2026 feels less like an anniversary and more like a statement. Thai-born creativity, once again, taking its place confidently on the global stage. A reminder that the future of nightlife, culture, and connection can be imagined differently and danced into being together.
