From 1–14 July 2026, Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok welcomes Jiwan from Doha for an exclusive residency at ALATi, marking the restaurant's first appearance in Thailand.

Nestled within the National Museum of Qatar and recognized by the Michelin Guide, Jiwan has garnered international acclaim for its contemporary interpretation of Middle Eastern cuisine, guided by the culinary philosophy of legendary French chef Alain Ducasse.

Jiwan is a celebration of culture, memory, and hospitality. Alain Ducasse's influence can be felt throughout the concept, emphasizing craftsmanship, respect for ingredients, and a deep sense of authenticity, principles that have become hallmarks of his global culinary empire.

Leading the kitchen is Head Chef Julien Guilloret, whose career has taken him through celebrated kitchens in Paris, the French Riviera, and Dubai. Before taking the helm at Jiwan, Guilloret honed his craft at Les Ombres in Paris, further immersing himself in Ducasse's culinary vision. Today, he channels those experiences into a cuisine that reinterprets Middle Eastern traditions through a contemporary lens.

During the residency, guests can discover a menu designed for sharing, reflecting the convivial spirit that lies at the heart of Middle Eastern dining culture. Signature dishes include Broccoli Tartlet and Chickpea Panis, Hammour Tandoori, Levantin Ragout, Jiwan Harees, Harira Soup, Cooked Sea Bream with Jiwani Rice, and Slow-cooked Lamb Shoulder. Together, the dishes showcase the vibrant flavors of the region while balancing heritage with refined contemporary techniques.

With Jiwan's arrival, Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok continues its tradition of bringing internationally celebrated dining concepts to the Thai capital. For food lovers seeking a fresh perspective on Middle Eastern cuisine, one shaped by cultural storytelling, craftsmanship, and Alain Ducasse's enduring vision, this limited residency promises to be one of Bangkok's most compelling dining experiences this season.
