Bangkok’s laundry routine is getting a tech-powered upgrade. LG Electronics Thailand has partnered with Urbanway Co., Ltd., the Thai technology company behind the Laundry Tech Platform and self-service laundry chain Trendy Wash, to launch Laundry Crew Express, a new full-service laundry solution designed for modern city living.

Formalized through a strategic Memorandum of Understanding, the partnership brings together LG’s appliance technology and Trendy Wash’s operational know-how to create an integrated Online-to-Offline laundry service that covers washing, drying, folding, ironing, dry cleaning, and door-to-door pickup and delivery.

The first Laundry Crew Express location has launched at Trendy Wash’s Suksawat 14 branch, with a clear focus on Bangkok’s growing market of condominium residents and urban professionals.

More Than a Laundromat

For many Bangkok residents, especially those living in condos, laundry is one of those small domestic chores that quickly becomes a lifestyle problem. Limited drying space, busy schedules, unpredictable weather, and the constant shuffle between washing machines, dryers, and folding baskets can make laundry feel far more time-consuming than it should be.

Laundry Crew Express has been designed to solve exactly that. Through the Laundry Crew Express application, customers can place orders anytime and arrange for their laundry to be collected, washed, dried, folded, and returned to their doorstep within 24 hours. The service also includes ironing and dry cleaning, making it less of a laundromat and more of a full-service fabric-care platform.

Sunghan Jung, President of LG Electronics Thailand, said the launch reflects LG’s move beyond home appliances into what the company describes as a Smart Life Solution Company. According to him, Laundry Crew Express was created to address real pain points faced by condo residents and busy urban professionals, particularly around time, space, and convenience.

Smart Laundry for City Life

The concept taps into a broader lifestyle shift in Bangkok, where convenience-driven services are becoming part of everyday living. Food delivery, ride-hailing, grocery apps, and home services have already reshaped how people move through the city. Laundry Crew Express brings that same on-demand mindset to garment care.

Under the partnership, LG will support the service with washing innovation, back-end management systems, and integrated marketing support. Trendy Wash will bring its experience in laundry operations, branch management, and technology-led service delivery.

For Urbanway Co., Ltd., the partnership also signals a new direction for the laundry business. Mr. Nimit Tangwararad, CEO of Urbanway Co., Ltd., said the collaboration between LG and Trendy Wash creates a stronger business model that serves both consumers and future franchise investors. The goal is to move beyond conventional self-service laundromats toward integrated smart laundry hubs powered by automation, connectivity, and last-mile delivery.

Designed for Bangkok’s Condo Corridors

Following its debut at Suksawat 14, Laundry Crew Express is set to expand across Bangkok’s key residential and commercial neighborhoods, including Sukhumvit, Phrom Phong, Thonglor, Ekkamai, and Rama 4. These areas, known for their dense condominium communities and fast-paced urban lifestyles, are a natural fit for a service built around speed, accessibility, and everyday convenience.

The service is also aimed at consumers who want consistency across every step of the laundry process. According to LG, the Laundry Crew Express model includes sorting, washing, drying, precise folding, and careful handling, with an emphasis on cleanliness, fabric care, and reliable turnaround times.

Launch Promotion

To mark the launch, LG Laundry Crew Express is offering an introductory promotion for wash, dry, fold, and delivery service starting at THB 199 per bag for up to 13 kilograms. The regular price is THB 499. The promotion gives customers a chance to experience LG’s fabric-care technology and bacteria-elimination system through the new service.
