MINI Aceman Collections Bring Three Personalities to Bangkok’s Electric City Life

Three limited-edition MINI Aceman Collections arrive in Thailand with just 130 cars available

What does your Bangkok look like? Colorful and creative, sleek and understated, or fast-paced with a little more attitude?

MINI Thailand is translating those different urban personalities into three limited-edition versions of its all-electric MINI Aceman, each designed around a different interpretation of contemporary city life.

Launched under the concept “MINI Aceman Collections: Shade of Urban Living,” the lineup comprises the MINI Aceman SE Multitone Collection, MINI Aceman SE Shadow Collection, and MINI Aceman SE JCW Collection. Only 130 units will be available in Thailand across all three editions.

Fittingly, MINI chose Bangkok's Songwat district for the unveiling. The historic riverside neighborhood has reinvented itself in recent years as one of the capital's most interesting lifestyle areas, where old shophouses and longtime businesses now sit alongside contemporary restaurants, cafés, galleries, and creative spaces.

Against that backdrop, the three MINI Aceman Collections are less about choosing between different specifications and more about finding the one that fits your version of urban living.

MINI Aceman SE Multitone Collection: For the Creative City

The MINI Aceman SE Multitone Collection is the most expressive member of the trio, aimed at design lovers, creators, and anyone who prefers their city car with some personality.

Its Indigo Sunset Blue exterior is topped by the MINI Multitone Roof in blue, created using a wet-on-wet spray technique. The gradient transitions from white at the front to deep blue toward the rear.

More interestingly, slight variations occur during the painting process, meaning no two Multitone roofs are completely identical. White mirror caps add another point of contrast, complemented by roof rails and 18-inch two-tone Slide Spoke aluminum wheels.

The blue theme continues inside with Black and Blue Vescin and Cloth upholstery. Electrically adjustable front seats, a driver memory function, Active Seat for the driver, wireless charging, MINI Connected Services, and MINI Navigation AR add the practical technology expected of an everyday urban EV.

As the image on page 2 of the press release makes clear, this is the collection that embraces color rather than trying to disappear into Bangkok traffic.

Best for: Design lovers and drivers who see their car as another form of personal expression.

MINI Aceman SE Shadow Collection: After-Dark Minimalism

If the Multitone is made to stand out, the MINI Aceman SE Shadow Collection takes the opposite route.

Finished almost entirely in Midnight Black, including the roof, roof rails, and mirror caps, the Shadow Collection embraces a darker and more restrained aesthetic. A panoramic glass roof and black 18-inch JCW Slide Spoke aluminum wheels complete the monochromatic exterior.

The visual on page 3 shows just how committed MINI is to the concept: black bodywork and dark detailing give the Aceman a considerably more understated character than the colorful Multitone edition.

That mood continues inside with Black Vescin upholstery, John Cooper Works interior surfaces, JCW sport seats, a heated JCW steering wheel, and Anthracite headliner.

Technology receives an upgrade too. The Shadow Collection matches the equipment level of the MINI Aceman SE Hightrim, adding features including Parking Assistant Plus, Driving Assistant Plus, adaptive cruise control with Stop&Go, a 360-degree camera, Remote 3D View, Drive Recorder, MINI Navigation AR, and Harman Kardon surround sound.

Best for: Drivers who prefer their MINI sleek, monochrome, and discreetly sophisticated.

MINI Aceman SE JCW Collection: The Sportier Side of the City

With only 30 examples available, the MINI Aceman SE JCW Collection is the rarest of the three.

Designed for drivers drawn to the performance-inspired side of MINI, it is available in Legend Grey, Nanuq White, and Melting Silver. Each is paired with a black roof and mirror caps, roof rails, and panoramic glass roof.

The biggest visual difference sits closer to the road. The JCW Collection gets 19-inch two-tone JCW Lap Spoke aluminum wheels, the largest fitted to any of the three special editions.

Inside are Black Vescin and Cord JCW upholstery, JCW sport seats, JCW interior surfaces, a heated JCW steering wheel, and Anthracite headliner.

It also receives the most comprehensive equipment package of the three collections, matching the MINI John Cooper Works Aceman and adding a Head-up Display alongside Parking Assistant Plus, Driving Assistant Plus, adaptive cruise control with Stop&Go, Harman Kardon surround sound, MINI Navigation AR, a 360-degree camera, Remote 3D View, and Drive Recorder.

Best for: MINI enthusiasts who want a more motorsport-influenced look without giving up the practicality of an urban electric crossover.

One Electric MINI, Three Different Looks

Underneath their different personalities, all three collections share the all-electric performance of the MINI Aceman SE.

A 160 kW/218 hp electric motor drives the front wheels, taking the MINI Aceman SE from zero to 100 km/h in 7.1 seconds and on to a top speed of 170 km/h.

Its 54.2 kWh lithium-ion battery provides a range of up to 405 kilometers under the WLTP standard. For longer journeys, DC fast charging at up to 95 kW can take the battery from 10 to 80 percent in as little as 31 minutes. AC charging at up to 11 kW takes 5.5 hours for a full charge.

Those figures also give the compact MINI enough flexibility to move beyond everyday Bangkok commutes, while retaining the dimensions and agility that make the Aceman particularly suited to urban driving.

Where to See the MINI Aceman Collections in Bangkok

The three limited editions make their public arrival at MINI Expo 2026, taking place at Mega Bangna from 21 to 31 August 2026. With 50 Multitone, 50 Shadow, and only 30 JCW models allocated to Thailand, the collections are deliberately limited.
