Bangkok does Chinese New Year with flair, and in 2026, Siam Paragon is turning the Lunar New Year into a full-scale cultural playground. From 11–18 February 2026, the city’s most iconic shopping destination hosts Siam Paragon A Prosperous Chinese New Year 2026, an immersive festival blending tradition, contemporary creativity, and plenty of reasons to linger a little longer in the heart of town during the Lunar New Year season.

At the center of it all are striking lantern installations, lively cultural performances from China, and appearances by leading Thai artists, transforming Siam Paragon into a festive landmark that feels both celebratory and thoughtfully curated for the Lunar New Year. A major highlight this year is the exclusive appearance by Chinese superstar Zhu Zhengting, whose presence adds a fan-favorite moment to the week-long celebrations.

Wander through Parc Paragon to catch large-scale lantern displays, or head indoors to Fashion Hall on Level 1, where the newly introduced Chinese Heritage Pavilion offers a closer look at cultural traditions through design, art, and storytelling inspired by the spirit of the Lunar New Year. Fans of Zhu Zhengting can also look forward to An Elegant Encounter with Zhu Zhengting, an intimate fan event designed for memorable, up-close interaction.

Art lovers should make a stop at The Fortune Guardians, a bold installation at the Jewel Zone and Cascade on Level M. Created by illustrator Suttipa Kamyam, the dynamic lion sculptures symbolize prosperity, protection, and abundance, and double as one of the most photogenic backdrops of the Lunar New Year season.

Over at NEXTOPIA, the celebration takes on a softer, more reflective tone under the theme Lucky in Love, Lucky in Green – Let Good Things Grow. Open daily throughout the Lunar New Year festivities, this zone focuses on connection, self-care, and sustainability, with hands-on workshops and relaxed activities designed for all ages.

From 11–14 February 2026, the LOVE MARKET hosts creative workshops like scrapbook-making, Italian charm bracelet crafting, and tarot readings covering love, career, finance, and future insights. From 15–18 February 2026, the LUCK MARKET shifts the focus to modern interpretations of Chinese New Year spirituality, featuring lucky charms, fortune-enhancing accessories, and auspicious plants.

One of NEXTOPIA’s most charming features is The Wishing Tree, created using recycled bottle caps as ornaments, with each color symbolizing a different wish such as love, prosperity, or health. The space stays open until midnight, complete with eco-conscious food and drink options, romantic music, and a laid-back evening atmosphere that invites visitors to linger during the Lunar New Year celebrations.

For those drawn to spiritual traditions with a purpose, Siam Paragon also hosts Siriwattana Prophecy for People with Disabilities, a charity fortune-telling event organized by the Sirivattana Cheshire Foundation under Royal Patronage. Taking place from 13–20 February 2026 at Crystal Court, Level 2 (North Wing), the event runs daily from 10:30 AM to 7:00 PM and features 40 well-known fortune tellers across various disciplines. Tickets are priced at THB 400, with proceeds supporting charitable causes.

Shopping, of course, is woven seamlessly into the festivities. The A Prosperous Chinese
