A new series of intimate performances transforms Bangkok hotels into stages for unforgettable music moments

Bangkok's live music scene is about to become more intimate. Marriott Bonvoy has partnered with beloved Thai band ETC. to launch the "ETC. Chuan Ma Jam Music Series Presented by Marriott Bonvoy," a collection of five exclusive performances that will take place inside some of the capital's most distinctive hotels from July 2026 to March 2027.

Rather than traditional concerts, the series offers a behind-the-scenes look at one of Thailand's most respected bands, inviting Marriott Bonvoy members into settings that few fans ever get to experience, from rooftop suites and garden courtyards to creative lounges and design-led social spaces.

The initiative reflects a growing shift in hospitality, where travel brands are increasingly becoming curators of cultural experiences instead of simply offering accommodation.

Why music experiences are becoming the new luxury

Travelers today are seeking experiences that feel personal, memorable, and impossible to replicate. According to Marriott Bonvoy's 2026 Loyalty Trends Report, travelers across Thailand and the Asia Pacific increasingly value curated experiences that align with their interests, with music ranking among the strongest passion points.

Instead of rewarding members solely with room upgrades or complimentary stays, Marriott Bonvoy continues to expand its Marriott Bonvoy Moments platform through exclusive access to concerts, sporting events, dining experiences, and cultural programming.

The collaboration with ETC. builds on earlier partnerships with Bangkok Music City and Siam Music Fest, reinforcing Marriott Bonvoy's growing investment in Thailand's creative community.

Five Bangkok hotels become live music venues

Running from July 2026 through March 2027, the series spans five performances, each designed around a different hotel atmosphere.

On 31 August, the series moves to Bangkok Marriott Hotel The Surawongse for an intimate gathering at The Garden at Surawongse, the hotel's elegant outdoor social space.

Each performance welcomes only 20 Marriott Bonvoy members and their guests, creating an unusually personal environment that includes live performances, recording sessions, sing-alongs, photo opportunities, and gourmet refreshments.

More than a concert

Founded in Chiang Mai, ETC. has built a devoted following through a sound that blends soul, funk, jazz, R&B and contemporary Thai pop. Their reputation for musicianship makes them a fitting partner for a series focused less on spectacle and more on connection.

Rather than filling large arenas, the band will perform in spaces where audiences can interact directly with the artists, turning each evening into a shared experience rather than simply a show.

It reflects a broader evolution in live music, where fans increasingly value authenticity, access and storytelling over scale.

How to attend the Marriott Bonvoy music series

The experiences are available exclusively through Marriott Bonvoy Moments.

Only 20 packages are available for each event, with bidding starting from 25,000 Marriott Bonvoy points. Each package includes admission for two people.

The first event takes place on 20 July 2026, with the remaining sessions running through March 2027. Marriott Bonvoy members can bid for the experiences through the Marriott Bonvoy Moments platform.

Hotels become part of Bangkok's music culture

As Bangkok continues to strengthen its reputation as one of Southeast Asia's leading cultural capitals, collaborations like this demonstrate how hotels are becoming active participants in the city's creative landscape.

For visitors and local members alike, the series offers something increasingly rare: intimate access to artists in thoughtfully designed spaces, where hospitality and music come together to create experiences that go far beyond a hotel stay.
