Honest Mediterranean cooking, sunset views, and a rooftop that feels more Riviera than Bangkok
High above Wireless Road on the 23rd floor of Andaz One Bangkok, Piscari doesn’t try too hard to impress. It doesn’t need to. With skyline views stretching toward Lumphini Park, this rooftop supper club leans into Mediterranean spirit with an ease that feels authentic, honest, and refreshingly free of pretension.
The design sets the tone. You enter through a cave-inspired reception before stepping into a piazza-like main space washed in warm, sunset hues. There’s an open-air terrace for golden hour aperitivo and a wraparound bar that encourages lingering. It’s polished, yes, but never stiff. The mood shifts naturally from relaxed early evening to a livelier after-dark rhythm, yet the heart of Piscari remains rooted in convivial dining and shared plates.

Pisacri's menu, helmed by French chef Marc Vasseur, reflects serious culinary pedigree without veering into overworked fine dining theatrics. This is Mediterranean cooking that respects ingredients. Seasoning is light, allowing freshness to lead. Dishes arrive designed for sharing, reinforcing the coastal philosophy that meals are meant to be social.
Start with the Cured Ocean Trout or the Corn and Pomegranate Salad. Both speak to restraint and technique rather than showmanship. The trout is clean, perfectly seasoned and bright, while the corn is rich and savory with fruity crunch of fresh pomegranate pearls. It’s hearty in the way Mediterranean food should be: generous but not heavy.
The Pan-Seared Seabass delivers crisp skin and delicate flesh, while the Iberico Pork Pluma brings a satisfying richness that feels rustic and celebratory all at once. These are plates you want in the center of the table, passed around with good wine and unhurried conversation.

For heartier appetites, the grill is where Piscari truly flexes its Mediterranean soul. The Grilled Octopus Leg arrives tender and gently charred, with just enough smokiness to enhance its natural sweetness. It’s deeply savory yet delicately handled, steering clear of the rubbery pitfalls that often undermine lesser versions.

Meat lovers should turn their attention to the Charcoal Grilled Australian Rib-eye, a premium cut treated with admirable restraint. Lightly seasoned and kissed by the charcoal flame, the rib-eye is allowed to speak for itself, showcasing the pure, clean flavors of high-quality beef rather than hiding behind heavy marinades or overpowering sauces.

Desserts continue the theme of straightforward pleasure. A Coupe Glacée Piscari offers nostalgic indulgence, while the Pistachio Mille-Feuille provides delicate crunch and nutty sweetness without excess.
The drinks program at Piscari revolves around the Mediterranean ritual of aperitivo. Cocktails are refreshing, balanced, and built to complement rather than overpower the food. After 10:00 PM, a late-night menu keeps the energy going, reinforcing Piscari’s dual personality as both dinner destination and social hub. For those who want something more intimate, the hidden speakeasy space add depth to the experience.
