Golf for a good cause: Thailand’s biggest charity golf event returns this November with three days of play, food, entertainment, and fundraising across Phuket and Bangkok.

Golfers, clear your November calendar. The Marriott Bonvoy Charity Golf Day is returning for its fifth edition, and this year Thailand's annual charity golf event is expanding beyond Phuket for the first time.

Taking place at Blue Canyon Country Club in Phuket on 12–13 November 2026 before making its Bangkok debut at Thai Country Club on 16 November, the event combines a full day on the fairways with food, entertainment, prizes, and a gala dinner — all while raising funds for children across Thailand.

Since launching in 2022, the Marriott Bonvoy Charity Golf Day series has raised more than THB 10 million for charitable causes. This year, proceeds will benefit three organizations: Save the Children Thailand, Operation Smile Thailand, and UNICEF Thailand.

From Phuket to Bangkok

The 2026 edition kicks off in Phuket, where golfers will take on the Lakes Course at Blue Canyon Country Club on 12–13 November.

Rather than a conventional day of competitive golf, the event is designed as a social occasion. The program includes a shotgun-format tournament, novelty competitions, special prizes, live entertainment, and surprises spread across all 18 holes.

On 16 November, the action moves to Thai Country Club for the Marriott Bonvoy Charity Golf Day's first Bangkok edition, bringing the same combination of golf, entertainment, and fundraising to the capital.

The expansion makes 2026 the biggest edition of the event since its launch five years ago.

Golf, Gourmet Bites and a Gala Dinner

There is plenty happening between holes, too.

Players and spectators can stop by Marriott Bonvoy on Wheels, a colorful collection of food trucks and carts operated by Marriott Bonvoy hotels and resorts. Gourmet bites and cold drinks will be available throughout the day, turning the tournament into as much a social and culinary event as a sporting one.

After the final holes, each event concludes with a gala dinner, giving participants another opportunity to mingle away from the fairways.

Tickets include the full day of golf, activities and competitions, on-course refreshments, and entry to the gala dinner.

Playing for a Bigger Cause

The Marriott Bonvoy Charity Golf Day forms part of Marriott International's CSR initiatives in Thailand and supports Serve360, the company's global sustainability and social impact platform.

“The Marriott Bonvoy Charity Golf Day is a highlight of our calendar, bringing people together through friendly competition while raising vital funds for meaningful causes,” says Brad Edman, Market Vice President – Thailand, Cambodia, Laos & Myanmar, Marriott International.

The Bangkok debut, he adds, provides an opportunity to expand the event's impact and involve more people while broadening its charitable support to include UNICEF alongside long-standing partners Save the Children and Operation Smile Thailand.
