A day of inspiring talks, women-led businesses, wellness sessions, and creative experiences highlights the power of female leadership and sustainable growth

Siam Paragon is marking International Women’s Day 2026 with a full-day celebration dedicated to the achievements and future potential of women. Titled HER-story Maker: Celebrating International Women’s Day 2026, the event transforms the iconic Bangkok destination into a hub of ideas, creativity, and empowerment on 8 March 2026.
The initiative reflects Siam Paragon’s commitment as a member of the Women’s Empowerment Principles network, established by UN Women and the UN Global Compact. Organized together with the Social Enterprise Thailand Association and a wide network of partners, the program highlights how female leadership can drive both social change and sustainable economic development.
Held primarily at NEXTOPIA inside Siam Paragon, the celebration brings together entrepreneurs, academics, artists, and key opinion leaders for a series of conversations and experiences centered on women’s role in shaping the future. The concept for this year’s edition, A Better World Begins with Women’s Co-creation, emphasizes collaboration and innovation as engines for progress.

One of the highlights of the day is a lineup of thought-provoking discussions beginning in the afternoon. The program opens at 1:00 PM with a keynote on the role of women leaders in today’s business landscape. This is followed by a panel titled Shop to Change—How Conscious Consumption Can Transform the World, where prominent female entrepreneurs explore how mindful shopping habits can reshape industries and communities. Another session, Diversity is Power, invites participants to examine how embracing diversity can spark new business ideas and innovative growth.
The panel features voices from across Thailand’s business and innovation sectors, including representatives from UN Women’s WE RISE Together project, Bangkok Cable, Bangkok Prep International School, Hopsie Story, Distar Fresh, Moreloop, Craft de Quarr, BRAVESHOES, UPCYDE, and NEXTOPIA.
Throughout the day, visitors can also explore the BuyForEqual Marketplace, open from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. The marketplace showcases products from women-led businesses, offering guests the chance to taste, discover, and shop while supporting female entrepreneurs. Shoppers who make purchases can present their receipts at the UN Women booth to receive a limited-edition UN Women collectible blind box while supplies last.

Wellness and self-development are also central to the celebration. NEXTOPIA, together with itsokaybesties and FIKKA, will host a series of interactive sessions ranging from a Yolates workout and wellness circle to a healthy cooking workshop and branding insights from female founders. The evening concludes with Bloom Into Her: Sip and Paint, a relaxed creative session that combines art and drinks in an inspiring atmosphere.
Another highlight takes place at SCBX NEXT STAGE on the fourth floor, where academics and experts gather for the panel Mrs. & Miss Information: Stories Every Woman Should Know. Organized with Mahidol University, the Friedrich Naumann Foundation, COFACT Thailand, and other partners, the discussion explores topics including misinformation, gender narratives, and the challenges women face in today’s media landscape. The event runs from 1:00 PM to 5:30 PM and includes a special exhibition celebrating International Women’s Day.
To complete the celebration, participating restaurants at NEXTOPIA will offer exclusive dining discounts for women on March 8, giving visitors an opportunity to enjoy the day with friends while supporting the spirit of the occasion.
With conversations, creativity, entrepreneurship, and community coming together under one roof, HER-story Maker positions Siam Paragon as more than a shopping destination. For one day, it becomes a platform for celebrating the voices, ideas, and achievements of women shaping the future.
